How can I easily create a new chat log db?

By default, Instant IMtegrity creates the main chatlog database automatically for you as part of the product installation.

If your chat log database (named either imtchatlog5.nsf or imtchatlog9.nsf depending on the product version) has grown too large and you’d like to start over with a new, clean database, you can do so easily by running the Instant IMtegrity configuration tool.

Important

The steps below assume that you’ve already moved or renamed the original chat log database. If an existing chat log database is found, the steps below won’t create a new one since one already exists.

Open a command prompt, and change into the IMtegrity installation folder:
```
cd "Program Files (x86)\IMtegrity"
```
run the Instant IMtegrity configuration tool with the /install cmd line argument:
```
imtconfig /install
```

That’s it! Your IBM Domino data directory now contains a brand new, pristine chat log database ready to be used by Instant IMtegrity to archive all new chats into.
