Limiting the number of log files per import

By default, the Instant IMtegrity server task imports all chat log files which are ready for import at the time of the run interval.

To configure how many chat log files should be processed, you can set the IBM Domino server notes.ini variables listed below.

It is not recommended to set these variables unless specifically requested by Instant Technologies customer support. Setting these variables with low values on busy servers might result in the Instant IMtegrity importer task never being able to ‘catch up’ with importing all chat log files.

notes.ini variables

imtegrity_maxSingleLogs=
max number of ‘single’ log files to be imported per import run.

imtegrity_maxFileLogs=
max number of ‘file’ log files to be imported per import run.

The following three variables only apply if the server’s commit interval is set:

imtegrity_maxStartLogs=
max number of ‘start’ log fragments to be imported per import run.

imtegrity_maxPartLogs=
max number of ‘part’ log fragments to be imported per import run.

imtegrity_maxFinalLogs=
max number of ‘final’ log fragments to be imported per import run.

The maximum allowed value for all those notes.ini variables is 32765.
