Configuring IMtegrity

The IMtegrity installer configures the server with automatically with default configuration settings.

For AOL AIM chat logging:
Depending on your network configuration, you might have to update the configuration to enable SOCKS proxy server usage. Also, to enable advanced features like LDAP directory authentication, Disclaimer support etc. require that you manually enable and configure these features.

It is recommended to first configure all server settings, then configure the clients.

All configuration changes are made with the IMtegrity Configuration application, which is installed by default.

Note: Some configuration changes you make in the IMtegrity server configuration tool require that you restart the respective services affected by these changes. In this case the configuration tool will prompt you, updates will not be picked up until these services have been stopped and restarted. All other configuration changes will automatically take effect within one minute.
